We want your experience to be just as special and unique as you and the wedding gown you’ll find. Here are a couple of pointers for making the most of your experience:
Where is the best place to park to get to the shop?
From the main Vail exit (#176) off Interstate 70, head East on the South Frontage Road and park in the Vail Village Parking Structure. Upon exiting the structure, cross the covered bridge over Gore Creek. Our shop is located just across the bridge on your right.
Should I wear make-up to my appointment?
If you are used to wearing makeup and like how you look and feel with it, wear it! Most dresses are put on by stepping into the dress and really shouldn’t interfere with the gown. However, with that said, bridal gown shopping may not be the best day to wear red, glossy lips.
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
We’ve found that sometimes too many opinions end up overwhelming the bride’s decision, and we don’t wish stressful shopping upon any of our brides. For your sake, one or two people is a good number, but no more than four is suggested.
Do I need an appointment?
Since we are a boutique bridal shop we specialize in hosting individual private appointments for our brides. Typically, the entire space will be open to your use and your close friends and family only. Therefore these appointments are recommended for brides who are serious & ready to purchase.
When should I order my wedding dress?
Dresses can take up to six to eight months to produce since it is being made to order. When you factor in shipping and alterations, it could be a 8 to 10 month total process. We suggest deciding on a dress nine to 12 months prior to your wedding date, so you have time built in for fittings and accessorizing. There are rush options available, but rush fees do apply.
How much do your designer gowns cost?
The studio has designer gowns starting at $4,000.
What is a Trunk Show?
La Vallée carries a curated selection of each designer’s collection, but trunk shows are a designated time that La Vallée will have each designer’s newest season’s collection. Trunk shows are hosted in our intimate Vail bridal studio where brides can view the newest and latest collections from our designers bringing in gowns other than the samples we carry in-house. Here, a bride will have customization opportunities for their gown, discount incentives, and so much more! The trunk shows typically only last a couple of days, and appointments fill up quickly, so we recommend you book early if one of your favorite designers will be visiting La Vallée and you want to be able to shop the whole line.
